Since 2025 I have been a doctoral researcher at the Conservatorio di Rovigo, where I am studying the life and music of Vittorio Rieti (1898-1994).

Although now largely forgotten, Rieti was a respected figure in musical modernism in the pre-war years; among his achievements are the collaborations with Diaghilev and the Ballets Russes, performances with many of the major orchestras and interpreters of the period. My research aims to rekindle interest in his music and complete our understanding of his life and times.

In particular, I will fill in the gaps in the recordings that exist of his piano music, with the first round of recordings to be made in August 2026.
